Points
Players losing their first match will receive the points detailed in 'red'. These are known as 'seeded loser points'.
Players joining the tour for the 2008/09 season will receive 'starter points'. The number of starter points will be equal to 8th position on the one year ranking list 07/08.
Players on equal points at the end of the season will be ranked according to most points earned in the current season. Should they remain equal, the ranking will be determined by using a countback with points earned in events working backwards from the world championship being considered.
Should they still remain equal, then the number of frames won by the player in their losing match will be considered working backwards from the world championship.
