Williams Top Marks In Premier League
Mark Williams won the battle of the Mark’s in his first Premier League match in five years, defeating Mark Selby four-frames-to-two at the Plymouth Pavillions.

Selby made a hot start with a century break (101) in the opening frame, earning himself a thousand pound bonus into the bargain.
He looked on course to double that in the second frame but broke down on 85, but it was enough to take a 2-0 lead.
Williams outscored by 186 to 3 in those two frames got a chance early on in the third after Selby missed a long red.
The Welshman looked in good touch and made earned a thousand pound bonus of his own with a clinical 113 break to halve his deficit.
In the next, it was nip and tuck and the Leicester man should have taken it to at least guarantee himself a point for a draw but an error on the last few balls allowed Williams to level at 2-2 and leave all to play for.
In a reversal of the opening two frames, Selby could only manage three points as Williams scored on each visit to make a winning return to the Premier League after an absence of five years.
