Williams Slip Up
World number 15, Mark Williams, has made a disastrous start to the season almost before it has begun, by breaking his right wrist.

The Welshman slipped on a tiled floor in his Ebbw Vale home late on Monday night, and was confirmed to have a broken wrist this afternoon, by doctors at Neville Hall Hospital in Abergavenny.
Sporting a bright blue cast, Williams told Global-snooker.com, "I am gutted. I told the doctors that I need to play in Shanghai in less than four weeks time, but right now it looks dodgy."
Mark is due to play Joe Swail in the last 32 of the Shanghai Masters when it gets underway in the Chinese city on September 7.
"I have not made a really good start to the season for a couple of years, but after regaining my top-16 place I was confident, I could get off to a flying start this time", said the two-time world champion.
"There hasn't really been a summer break this year which has helped, I played well in Thailand. I was due to play the semi-final of Ryan Day's invitation event tonight and am in the final of the Squeaky Masters (The TCC Open, which attracted the likes of Day, Shaun Murphy and Matthew Stevens) against Darren Morgan, so the injury is a real set-back."
