Liu Sings When He Wins
China's Liu Song beat world number 24, Michael Holt by five frames to one in the final qualifying round of the 2010 Totesport Welsh Open.
Song has been pretty quiet in recent times despite being the first player from China to qualify for the final stages of a ranking event.

He has since been surpassed by Ding and Liang at the top of the game, but he certainly has the credentials to join them . He reached the final of the world under-21, losing to Neil Robertson. He finished top of the PIOS Tour a few years back and reached the quarter-final of the Grand Prix in 2007.
2008/09 was a nightmare, but like Ding, he is starting to get back to winning ways. Three wins in as many days losing just three frames in the process has seen him book a spot in Newport, where he faces a rematch with Robertson in the last 32 of the Welsh Open.
Elsewhere, six times world champion, Steve Davis was sent packing by Welshman, Dominic Dale meanwhile Six Reds World Champion and namesake Mark scraped past Northern Ireland's Joe Swail 5-4.
