Pink Ribbon Trophy Unveiled
As the finishing touches are made to the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester, owner Paul Mount has unveiled the first trophy that will be won at the state-of-the-art £2m facility.

128 players will compete in the Pink Ribbon Pro-Am which breaks off on Thursday, with the likes of Stephen Maguire, Ryan Day, Judd Trump and Matthew Stevens among the pre-tournament favourites.
Also in the line up are Mount’s ‘Pink Army’ of players including former world number three, Stephen Lee, world six red champion, Mark Davis and local favourites Robert Milkins and Michael Wasley.
Mount told Global-Snooker.com, “It has taken a lot of hard work to get to this stage and I am really excited about the seeing the first competitive matches getting underway on Thursday”.
As well as the £10,000 prize money on offer, players will be competing for an impressive trophy specially commissioned by Mount which was designed and created by Miles Howard of Calibre Models Ltd and appropriately marks the occasion of the first of many planned events at the Academy.
