ONEFORSEVEN Field is Complete
The final two places at the first ONEFORSEVEN event in Cardiff on 21st December have been awarded to Reanne Evans and Robert Milkins.
Evans, the five time Ladies world champion will take her place in Monday’s draw after being invited by the event promoter Global Snooker.
She told global-snooker.com, “I am delighted to get a rare opportunity to take on the top men. I love this new format, I played it for the first time a few weeks ago and I think it could really catch on”.
Milkins was also rewarded for his performance in winning the World Snooker Pro Challenge III last month.
He told Global-Snooker.com, “It was great to win the Pro Challenge in Leicester and I thrilled to have received this invite as a result of my win.
They will join Ben Woollaston, Dave Harold, Mark King and Liam Highfield who all won Satellite events to earn their place at The Welsh Institute of Sport, where they will face the likes of John Higgins, Ken Doherty, Mark Williams and straight from the Jungle, Jimmy White.
The ONEFORSEVEN format will see eight players go head-to-head, playing one frame against each of their seven opponents accumulating their points total from each frame.
The top four players from each group will progress to the final eight in the evening session where they will battle it out for the top prize.
