Malta Junior Event Announced
A new junior event has been announced that will take place in Malta in January, 2010.
The Malta Under 17 Invitational is co-sponsored by Tournament sponsored by Malta Tourism Authority, San Antonio Hotel & Spa, Bank of Valletta and Apple Snooker Club.
The Apple Snooker Club will play host to the event that, it is hoped, will attract the best junior players from all across Europe to the stunning island.
Entry is 40 Euros and will include accommodation at the 4 star San Antonio Hotel & Spa. Friends, family, coaches and delegates will also enjoy preferred terms at the hotel
The early stages will see players compete in groups with all matches best of five frames. Once the tournament reaches the Quarter-Final stage, this will increase to best of seven the final being played over nine frames.
All players born on or after the 1st of January 1993 are eligible to play in the competition.
