Maguire and Burnett questioned by police.
Stephen Maguire, the world number two and fellow Glaswegian, Jamie Burnett, were detained but later released without charge by Strathclyde Police.

It was during the Maplin UK Championship last December that the two players met in the first round of snooker’s second biggest ranking event.
Police said a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal's office when inquiries were complete.
Stephen Maguire won his first round match against Jamie Burnett at the Maplin UK Championship 9-3.
Before the game, numerous bookmakers suspended betting after significant bets were placed, predicting a Maguire victory by nine-frames-to-three.
In frame 12, Burnett missed a relatively straight-forward black to win the frame which would have made the score 8-4.
Burnett, 33, denied any involvement after the match and blamed the situation and the pressure for affecting his play.
Professional Governing Body, World Snooker launched a formal investigation and instructed specialist lawyers to help in the case.
Strathclyde Police launched its own inquiry in April.
Maguire is one of the game’s current top stars. He turned professional in 1998 after winning the world amateur championship. During his ten-year professional career, he has won four ranking tournaments, and currently lies second behind Ronnie O’Sullivan in the world rankings.
Jamie Burnett has been a professional since 1992 and is currently ranked 40th in the world. Considered by many to have not reached his full potential, Burnett does hold the world record break, after making a 148 break in 2004.
Addition
Maguire’s legal representative Peter Forbes said; “Police spoke to Stephen, their questioning and points put to him based upon information given to them during their initial interview with my client in the spring of this year. Having answered those questions, Stephen was released without charge.”
Maguire, 28, added; “I have nothing to say other than I can be doing without this. I wish this was over and done with and that I didn’t have these allegations hanging over me so I could concentrate entirely on playing snooker.
“All I want to do now is forget today and concentrate on preparing for playing in China next week.”
