• Judd TRiUMPhs Against Ding

Judd Trump sensationally reached the final of the Betfred.com world snooker championship after winning a thrilling semi-final against China's Ding Junhui by 17-frames-15.

The 21-year-old from Bristol ended the hopes of the Chinese number one and will now face either John Higgins or Mark Williams in the two-day final which starts tomorrow.

The 'Ace' looked as though he may have blown his chance when Ding took a lead early in the final session.

Leading 15-14, the Chinese number one was expected to surge forward and become Asia's first ever world championship finalist.

The youngster had other ideas though and produced three of the best frames of his life to claim victory.

Since day one, Judd has maintained his all-out attacking style which earned him wins against defending champion Neil Robertson, Martin Gould, Graeme Dott and he was not about to change.

After pinching frame 30 on the black, the Bristol-man went ahead with a break of 68 before sealing the win with a century (105).
