GBE 2009 - Global-Snooker Review
GBE2009, The China International Billiards Exhibition was held in China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, from March 10 to 12.
China is the billiards production base in the world and Guangdong is the largest billiards production base in China. GBE, which is held in Guangzhou, has become the best platform to meet Chinese and international billiards suppliers and buyers.
It is also proving to be a great networking opportunity to find business partners and generally to learn more information about the development of the billiards industry in China.
The exhibition was held over 5000 square meters, with 200 booths, 65 international and domestic brands displaying their products. Famous brands such as Brunswick, Shender, Yalin, Aramith, Wiraka, K.F cue, FURY, MEZZ, MASTER, OMIN, KPS, Falcon, Gorina , YTT, Palko, RASSION, LEGO, Chaojie Billiards were present and in total the number of exhibitors doubled from 2008.
More than 10,000 Chinese visitors attended GBE2009 as well as visitors from all over the world including America, UK, Russia, Canada, Australia, Portugal, Singapore, Malaysia.
During the exhibition, the organizing committee held activities to attract professionals, including the China Billiards Industry Development Forum, The Second China Billiard Club Operation and Management Seminar.
GBE2009 also brought many of the stars of the billiards world together. These included ‘Asia Little Witch’, Ga - Young Kim, ‘8 ball girl killer’ Lin Yuan Chun, ‘Pool Prince’, Ko Pin-Yi, ‘Cool Killer’, Zhao Feng Bang, and Chinese 9 ball champion, Han Yu.
The excitement of GBE2009 may have passed, but the organisers expect that 2010 will be bigger and better.
