Higgins Out of ONEFORSEVEN
World champion, John Higgins, has today withdrawn from the first ever ONEFORSEVEN event being staged in Wales on Monday, suffering from exhaustion.
The Scot, a beaten finalist in the Pukka Pies UK Championship on Sunday, lost in the quarter-final of the 6-reds world championship in Killarney yesterday to Mark King.
Higgins’ manager Pat Mooney, told Global-snooker.com that “John had hit the wall”.
He will be replaced in the draw by world number 17, Barry Hawkins, who earlier today reached the last four of the world six red championship in Killarney.
