Here They Are Now...
The Q Bar in Chester is holding an Ex Professional Snooker Players get together in November, so Global-snooker.com went in search of some old faces…when we say old, we mean – yeah you know what we mean!
The Pontin’s festival seems like a lodgical place to start and it wasn’t long before we heard Jason Pegram. Pegram, a larger than life character was a regular and one of the most popular player on the Pro-Am circuit in the late 80s and in the qualifying school at Blackpool through the 90s.

We caught up with him as he was handing in his match sheet which showed three century breaks in as many frames against Simon Day. He told us, it was just like 1994 again, when I did that at the Norbreck Castle in the qualifiers".
Pegram has moved around the country since retiring but is now back in his native London, where he runs a snooker club.
Anyone remember Big Break? Of course you do! Saturday nights have never been the same in the UK since Jim and John were replaced by Simon and Louis!
The star-studded line ups of Hendry, White and Davis were often backed up by a group of talented young players, some of whom never quite made it.
We caught up with one of those now not-so youngsters, Ollie King – yeah that’s him the good looking one!
Since hanging up his cue in the late 90s, Ollie went into the fashion business and is now brand manager in the UK for Dunhill.

We caught up with him at the recent England v Croatia game at Wembley where we caught him sparring with world boxing champion, David Haye.
King told Global-snooker.com, “I don’t play anymore, but I often get asked are you that snooker player that reached the 3rd round of the Regal Welsh in 1996?”.
When he heard about Jason’s exploits in Prestatyn, King said, “If Pegram can make three centuries, perhaps it is time I made a come back.
