    Xiao Guodong
    China's Guodong finished second on the PIOS rankings and secured a place on World Snooker's Tour thanks mainly to victory in events two and six in Prestatyn.

    Bjorn Haneveer
    Haneveer set the early pace by winning Event One.  The Belgian concolidated this performance with consistent results that helped him finish number four and return to the World Snooker Tour.

    Joe Jogia
    Jogia regained his place on World Snooker's Tour with victory in Event Eight, and a solid series of results leading up to the last event.

    Craig Steadman
    England's Steadman was number two in the rankings at the half-way point after winning Event Four in Prestatyn.  He managed to hold on to a top-eight position and qualify to play amongst the big boys in 09/10.

    Other possible contenders include;

    Mike Hallet rolled back the years in Event Four before losing the Craig Steadman in the final.

    Lee Page's consistency earned him a top-three finish and a place on World Snooker's Tour.

    Ben Woolaston needed to reach the final of the last event to have any chance and that's exactly what he did.
