UK Championship

The UK Championship is one of the longest running professional snooker tournaments.

It was first staged in 1977 when it was won by Ireland's, Patsy Fagan. Since then it has moved around the country and been sponsored by various different organisations.

Steve Davis is the most successful UK Championship player with six titles, closely followed by Stephen Hendry with five.
