Selby Joins Maximum Club
Mark Selby made the first official 147 break of his career during his match against Joe Perry at the Wuzhou International Group Jiangsu Classic.
Selby's previous high break was 141, which he made to complete victory in the 2008 Masters.
He joins the Maximum list at number 69, although, sadly for Selby, there is no maximum break bonus on offer in this event.
Despite the maximum Selby failed to qualify from the group stages, winning just two of his 5 matches. Shaun Murphy topped their group and is joined by Marco Fu in the semi finals.
It went right to the wire in Group 1 and Ding's 2-0 defeat of Ryan Day ensured that he finished top of the group.
Mark Allen is the second qualifier through to the semi finals. Li Hang's challenge faltered today. Having won three matches yesterday to lead the group, he lost 2-0 to both Stephen Hendry and Mark Allen.
