Global Snooker has received news that World Number 46, Adrian Gunnell has caught the Swine Flu virus that is sweeping the UK at present.

The Telford 37 year old is confined at home at present.

It's not known how Adrian caught the virus, but it has recently become far more prevalent across the West Midlands area of the UK.

Everyone at Global Snooker wishes Adrian a speedy recovery and hopes he is fit in time for the first Professional Ranking event of the season on 3 August, the Shanghai Masters qualifiers.

World Snooker also host the first of their Pro Challenge series commencing on 28 July.
