The Wind breezes through in Gloucester
Jimmy White booked his place in the Semi Finals of the Pink Pro Am with a 5-0 whitewash over Robert Milkins
Jimmy White rattled in breaks of 56, 47 and 41, while Milkins made 56, 46 and 31 but couldn't close out the frames.
Earlier in the day White won a deciding frame against Ricky Walden in the Last 16.
It was a brilliant match full of high scoring and maximum entertainment value.
Sadly there wasn't a maximum as White rattled the 13th red on a 147 attempt.
After Walden took the opener, White turned on the style with 100, 96 and 78.
Walden responded with 120 and 94 to level the match and in the decider it was nip and tuck until White got in with a 38 clearance.
Michael Holt is another player who's found some good early season form. He demolished Joe Perry 5-0 in the Quarter Final with breaks of 69, 93 and 100.
Holt beat the unfortunate Tom Ford 5-1 in the last 16 with the help of runs of 36 and 61 in the first, and 55 in the third. Ford contributed 50 and 52 in the second.
That rounded off a thoroughly miserable couple of days for Ford.
When he left to travel down on Thursday his car started emitting strange noises and he returned home to borrow his father's car.
As he was parking that car the radiator blew up. So Ford motoring is obviously not what it's cracked up to be!
Gerard Green became the second On Q player into the semi finals after a hard fought 5-1 win over Mark Joyce, who had ended Judd Trump's hopes in the last 16.
Ryan Day beat Stuart Bingham 5-3 in a match full of high speed scoring. Day blasted in 59, 87, 72, 49 and clinched the match with 77. Bingham responded with 120 and 83.
