Evans joins The Mounties
Six times World Ladies Champion Reanne Evans has signed with Paul Mount's management company On Q Promotions.
Paul Mount has signed up Reanne Evans and vowed to get more events on the calendar for Ladies Snooker.

Mount explained "We have been talking with Global Snooker about staging a ONEFORSEVEN event for the Ladies and we'll be staging more events featuring the lady players at the new South West Academy.
Evans, who won her sixth consecutive World Ladies title at Cambridge earlier this month, is delighted to be joining the growing On Q stable which already includes Jimmy White, Stephen Lee, Barry Hawkins, Dominic Dale, Alfie Burden and Robert Milkins.
Mount revealed that he was delighted to welcome Reanne to the team saying,I've watched Reanne play for some time time now, including a win against John Higgins in last years Six Reds World Championships in Ireland, and have been very impressed with her game. There are no physical or mental reasons why women cannot compete against men and we intend to put this theory to the test.

"It's an approach Barry Hearn, chairman of the WPBSA, has supported by agreeing to invite Reanne into next seasons PCT events which will include the 96 pro tour players and invited top amateurs.
"This along with a few other initiatives we have planned, including an all ladies ONEFORSEVEN event in the summer, will invigorate the ladies game and provide an added interest for all snooker fans.
"We will also be looking to change the dress codes for ladies players as I believe that having to compete in male clothing discourages some ladies from entering the competitive arena. I hope to work with well known ladies clothing manufacturers and providers to develop an appropriate and attractive attire and set the trends for ladies snooker wear."
For Evans herself, joining a management stable of the calibre of On Q will have myriad benefits.
As well as being able to practice with top quality male opposition at the new Academy, Mount is arranging to have an identical match table fitted for Evans at her home.
The five year management deal will also enable Evans to play tournaments on their merits instead of a "must win" attitude just to get the meagre prize money on offer in Ladies snooker, to offset some of the travel and accommodation costs.
Reanne commented “I had a meeting with Paul last week, agreed to join On Q Promotions as I believe they will be able to help me develop in competitions against the men and revitalise the ladies game. The advanced practice facilities.
"I will be using at the new South West Snooker Academy and the opportunities to practice there against top male and female players will undoubtedly get me as well prepared as possible and I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead.”
In the current World Ladies scene Evans' closest opponent is Maria Catalano, also from the West Midlands and other players such as Katie Henrick are usually in the shake up.
But Reanne has spotted a new talent on the scene. Ten year old Jasmine Bolsover wowed spectators at the recent World Ladies Championship.
Evans told us "She's brilliant, she has a brilliant cue action and when I see her starting to knock in the 50 breaks, I'm off!"
Evans' first appearance in the Pink waistcoats of the On Q Management players will be in the Pink Ribbon Pro-Am, a massive nationwide tournament where qualifiers will join more than thirty of the leading professionals and another sixty PIOS players to celebrate the opening of the new south West Academy, on 17-20 June 2010.
