• Chuang on course for Main Tour Return

    China's Liu Chuang is favourite to take the Asian Under 21 title in India.The Asian Under 21 Championship earns the winner a Professional Main Tour Nomination and four players remain in with a chance.

    The semi final line up, to be played on 14 April comprises China's Liu Chuang who will face a previous unknown Iranian Mohammad Lababi.

    Thailand's Thanawat Tirapaipongboon, another pre event favourite, takes on fellow Thai Pachara Mayone.

    Iran's Soheil Vahedi, who reached the semi finals of the World Amateur Championship in 2008, has posted the high break of the event so far, with a superb 135. But Vahedi was beaten 4-2 in the quarter finals by Pachara Mayone.

    Thailand's Yuttapop Pakpoj fired in 108 during a 4-0 Last 16 win over Hong Kong's Wong Yun Shing. The Thai junior also added runs of 44, 61 and 44 in the match.
