• 110sport win Live Streaming Contract

    Sports Management Company 110sport have won a three year contract to stream live coverage of all World Snooker qualifiers.

    110Sport, well known as the management stable to a host of snooker stars, including Stephen Hendry, Stephen Maguire and Ken Doherty, will launch their new tv channel on Monday 3 August, having agreed an exclusive three-year deal to screen live matches from all 48 days of World Snooker's  qualifying events.

    In conjunction with 110sport, the leading sports management company, the new 110sport tv channel will be launched for Monday's opening day of the Roewe Shanghai Masters qualifiers at The World Snooker Centre at Pontin's, Prestatyn, North Wales.

    Snooker fans will be given the option to purchase exclusive live coverage at a charge of £2.99 per session with a choice of two matches each session.

    The Shanghai Masters qualifiers run from 3-6 August, with a list of familiar stars, such as Steve Davis, Matthew StevensJames Wattana, crowd favourite Jimmy 'The Whirlwind' White, and former world champions Ken Doherty and Graeme Dott, Steve Davis and John Parrott, all in action.

    A spokesman for World Snooker said: "The standard of play at the qualifiers is unbelievably high, and now fans across the world have the chance to watch some of the legends of the sport and up-and-coming stars in action. This is an exciting innovation for snooker."

    As well as the snooker stars, 110sport also manage stars from golf, rugby, cycling, boxing and motorsport, with Sir Chris Hoy and Alastair Forsyth amongst them.
