Information
This year's Lt Col Walter Rowley OBE Junior Star of the Future Festival features two age groups. Group A is players aged 15 to 20 years old and Group B is players aged 14 and under.
The tournament is played in round robin groups of 8 or 16 players (depending on entry numbers).
Two (or 4) players qualifying from each Group for the knock out stages.
The knock out stages commence on Wednesday 17 February.
There is Plate competition for each age group, for players who don't qualify for the knock out stages.
On Friday 19 February a new event will be contested. "The Pontin's Line Up"
Players can enter to attempt a 'line up' clearance. Entry costs £5 and players will be bracketed into yearly age groups (dependent on entry numbers some age brackets may be merged into a single group.)

Group A (15-20 years)
Winner - £300 plus £3000 sponsorship package and trophy
Runner Up - £150 and trophy
Semi Finalist - £100 and trophy
Quarter Finalists - £25
Group B (14 and under)
Winner - £300 plus £2000 sponsorship package and trophy
Runner Up - £150 and trophy
Semi Finalist - £100 and trophy
Quarter Finalists - £25
There is also a trophy awarded for the best performance by a player from the Under 14 group in the Plate competition.
