Mighty Maflin is the Main Tour Man:
Kurt Maflin continued his rich vein of form to beat Alex Borg 5-2 and reclaim his place on snooker's World Professional Main Tour next season. He rattled in breaks of 74, 60, 84, 123 and 83 in an amazing display of scoring and the experienced Maltese player could find no way to stop him.
Two of the pre-event favourites Kurt Maflin and Alex Borg have made their way through to the final of the International Play Off.
Both have previously had experience on the Main Professional Tour and tonight's final has the makings of a high speed, high scoring feast of entertainment.
Kurt Maflin continues to look in very impressive form. Although he's still recovering from a broken shoulder, it's not hampering him at all and he's stormed past former pro Mario Wehrmann 4-0 in their quarter final.
Wow what a great Quarter Final line up we have. Only one player, Duncan Bezzina has not previously player at Pro level or at least the old Challenge Tour.
We still have Belgium, Malta, Holland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland represented.
I wonder which country and player will be celebrating later tonight when they win a Main Tour place.
We have the Last 16 matches in play at the moment. Some of Europe's best ever players have come up against each as former pros Alex Borg and Lasse Munstermann drew each other, as did Kristjan Helgason and Roy Stolk.
Kurt Maflin blasted through his first match of the day, barely giving Roy Fernandez a shot.
Tuesday Night:
Good evening, or should I say Good night!
We still have some Last 32 matches to be finished and then we will do the Last 16 draw and publish it ready for the matches to be started at 10am Wednesday morning.
We've had some drama in the Last 32, like Alex Borg needing brown to black to win in the deciding frame against Hans Blanckaert from Belgium. Fellow Maltese player Duncan Bezzina had an easier ride, knocking in 100.

Good afternoon. Now the second set of groups is underway at the Rin Grand. Some of the first knockout matches have started too. Munstermann knockout in a couple of 60s to beat Antony Brabin and Costas Konnaris ended Manon Melief's fun day.
Belgium's Hans Blanckaert has stormed through his groups without losing a frame. He will play the runner up from Group N. That might be Alex Borg as he lost his match against Roy Fernandez but there's still matches to be played to sort out the positions.
Tuesday Morning:
Good morning and a very warm welcome to Bucharest. Play is underway now in the EBSA International Play Off.
The winner of this event is eligible for nomination for a place on the WSA Main Professional Tour in 2010-11.
Watch this space for the latest news on and off table from the Rin Grand Hotel and the fabulous Romanian Snooker Federation Academy.
The first century of the event has been made down at the Federation by Patrick Einsle with a cracking 104. His fellow Germans Lasse Munstermann (66) and Sasche Lippe (71) are also featuring on the break board.
But there was a shock for Munstermann in his first match as Costas Konnaris rattled off a 2-0 win over the German.
Germany's Diana Stateczny, part of their Team who won in Malta, opened up with a 2-0 win over Paul Croitoru of Romania, and Dutch lady Manon Melief beat Bogdan Cozmaciuc in their group.
The first big shock of the day and it's more girl power as Manon Melief beats Sascha Lippe in their group match.

Group E is looking very tight for qualification. It all depends now how Brabin and Melief do in their last matches.
As the groups are completed, they will immediately play the first knock out match. So for instance the winner of Group A will play runner up in Group B and so on.
After that there will be a draw for the Last 16.
Manon Melief finishes second in her group and that knocks out Germany's Sascha Lippe. Girl power wins the day!
