The Format
There are seven groups of players, each with seven players.
the Group winner goes forward to the Winners' Group and four players (runner up, losing semi finalists and fifth place) progress to the next group.
Ultimately there will be seven players in the winners' group, with one player finally winning a coveted place in the 2010 Premier League.
Each player plays each other opponent once, in a best of 5 frame match.
That gives a total of 21 matches in each group. The top four progress to play off in semi finals and Final, and the bottom four are eliminated from the League.
Players are awarded 1 point for each match won. If players are level in the table, frames won, then frames lost are used to determine the league table position.
