     Notes:

Frame 9. Walden looked all set to win the frame, but missed a routine red on 60, left it on and Selby cleared with 73 to open up a 6-3 overnight lead.

Frame 8. A critical frame for Walden to win and he clinched it on the colours. Selby is still guaranteed an overnight lead but could Walden close to 5-4 overnight?

Frame 7. Walden really needs a couple of quick clean breaks, he's fallen further behind despite no major contribution by Selby in that frame.

Frame 6. Walden crashes in a big break to pull back to 4-2. He would really love to win the next couple and get level in this match. So far he's been playing catch up all the way.

Frame 5. Selby's moved further ahead. At 65 ahead he had a slice of luck, running dead safe off a poor safety attempt and he's got back in to close out the frame.

Frame 4. Selby's taken a 3-1 lead. He added a 40 break  to an early lead in frame 4.

Frame 3. A nice 90 break from Walden will help to settle the butterfles for Ricky and the large crowd of supporters who have come over to cheer him on.

Frame 2. Selby's nipped in there with a crucial 37 which seals the second frame for the Jester.

Frame 1. The two players exchanged some banter back stage while the BBC did all its build up, But now it's down to business and Selby takes the opener.
    Notes:

Frame 16. Selby secures victory with his third century of the match.

Frame 15. Walden makes 57, losing position and tosses up his chalk in frustration. But he got another chance and took the frame to stay in the match.

Frame 14. Walden missed a simple black off its spot on 15 and Selby stepped in to clear with a century. The winning line is clearly in sight.

Frame 13. Walden pulls one back with a ton, so they've shared the first four but the deficit is still 3 frames.

Frame 12. Selby regains a four frame buffer on the back of a run of 58.

Frame 11. Walden has bossed the proceedings in frame 11. He did break down on 43 but got another chance to close out the frame. Now if he could win the next two up to the interval we'd have a match on our hands.

Frame 10. Selby has flown out of the block with a fabulous 127 to start the afternoon.

Good afternoon and welcome back to the final session of this match.
Selby holds a good 6-3 lead but Walden, who has already won the Shanghai Masters this season, will be determiined to cut out the odd miss he had yesterday and make some inroads into that lead.
