     Notes:

Frame 9. Barry Hawkins rounds off a very good session with a run of 67 to claim the one frame lead.

Frame 8. This match is building up nicely, it could go all the way to the wire. Dott levels at 4-4 with a couple of thirties in that frame.

Frame 7. It's tit for tat as Dott cruises through the frame with a well compiled 82 break.

Frame 6. Barry Hawkins is now playing right up to his best, and there's a cracking 129 clearance to take a two frame lead.

Frame 5. This absorbing match looks like it's going to be too close to call. Dott made 34 but missed, Hawkins countered with 50 but, in turn, missed the yellow. But despite Dott trapping him a snooker twice, Hawkins eventually took the frame on the colours.

Frame 4. No big scoring in this frame but Hawkins dows enough to level at the interval.

Frame 3. Dott is in the groove now, a smoothly compiled 71 takes him ahead.

Frame 2. Hawkins started nicely but faltered on 33 and he left Dott a chance to counter, which he did very effectivley with a 71 break.

Frame 1. Hawkins forced Dott into a safety error and pounced to take the opening frame, with a nicely compiled 82 to the pink.
    Notes:

Frame 18. Dott is through after a titanic and high quality match. He did missed on 24 early in the frame. Hawkins came back with 63 but let Dott back in to make a 46 clearance.

Frame 17. Hawkins went in off and that gave Dott the chance to close out the frame. He's got his nose in front at a vital time.

Frame 16. The first sign of a chink in the Dott armour. He was cruising on 37 before missing the pink to centre. Hawkins stepped in with a clinical 84 clearance.

Frame 15. This match just seems to get better and better. Hawkins puts together 75 and that's the sixth break of 69 or better tonight so far.

Frame 14. That's the third frame on the spin for Dott, he's clinched it with a 69 clearance. This is a cracking good match.

Frame 13. Dott cracks in another big break. He's back in front in this tit for tat, high quality encounter.

Frame 12. Dott fails on 91, but that's more than enough to clinch the frame.

Frame 11. A classy century break takes Hawkins back into the lead.

Frame 10. Graeme Dott has levelled the match, helped by a 70 clearance
